Terms & Conditions

1. Interpretation of the Terms

  • I. Agreement refers to these Terms and Conditions.
  • II. Term: Razzy – refers to Razzy.com and the parent company (Scriber LLC), an online brokerage agent for academic tutoring services.
  • III. Term: Student – refers to the person/client requesting academic tutoring services through Razzy and abide by the Terms and Conditions described in this agreement.
  • IV. Term: Tutor – refers to the person/independent contractor providing academic tutoring services through Razzy and abide by the Terms and Conditions described in this agreement.
  • V. Messaging Software is the platform that allows communication between the Student and the Tutor.
  • VI. Contract refers to the binding agreement (including the agreement’s specifications and provisions) between the Student and Tutor for the exchange of specified payment for stated academic tutoring services.
  • VII. Completed Assignment refers to the final delivery (by the tutor, through the messaging software) of the agreed upon academic tutoring service (as specified in the contract).
  • VIII. Customer Support refers to Razzy’s structural unit responsible for assisting in contract support, student-to-tutor interactions, and contract/payment disputes.

2. Order Placing and Registration

  • I. Students may post service inquiries through Razzy and negotiate with interested Tutors to reach a mutually agreed-upon contract.
  • II. It is the Student’s personal responsibility to provide exact, full, and final information regarding the contract’s provisions both in the initial service-inquiry post as well as the post-negotiated contract. If the contract is incomplete, the missing fields may be subject to Customer Support’s discretion.
  • III. Students are required to register their profile with the Razzy by providing their name, e-mail address, and university.
  • IV. Once the student’s profile is created, based on the information that is provided during registration, the student should not attempt to create another profile by providing different credentials when placing a new Order. The student is required to communicate and do business with the Razzy using one and only one profile, created during the first purchase. Should multiple accounts be created, Razzy has the right to merge multiple accounts in one profile to keep the purchase history up to date.

3. Order Payment

  • I. Payment for academic tutoring services is calculated according to the mutually accepted, negotiated price between the Student and Tutor. The finalized price must be submitted by the student prior to the Tutor beginning his specified service. The payment will be held in escrow by Razzy until the tutor’s completed assignment is delivered. When the completed assignment is delivered, it is the responsibility of the student to accept the tutors request to release payment or to release the payment by themselves.
  • II. If the tutor delivers the completed assignment but the student does not release the payment, it will be up to customer support’s discretion on whether the contract was upheld and whether the tutor is entitled to the payment.
  • III. Payment for contracted academic tutoring service can be paid through credit or debit card.
  • IV. In the event of payment issues, students are encouraged to contact customer support for assistance.

4. Order Process

  • I. Order validation. Razzy reserves the right to re-check the contract details after the payment, to confirm the matching of the requirements indicated while filling out the contract’s order form and any other requirements provided manually by the studentthrough the messaging software. Should cases of mismatch occur, the customer support will contact the student to clarify and finalize the details.
  • II. Change of contract details. Students may negotiate contract terms followingthe initial agreement between both parties only if both parties agree to the altering stipulations within the messaging software.
  • III. Resources. Should a specific source be required for Order completion, the student is responsible for providing it to the tutor. The student should upload the source(s) before the tutor is assigned in order to assure on-time delivery. If the source is provided late, the completion of the contracted service within the deadline period cannot be guaranteed by the tutor.
  • IV. Communication. The student may contact their writer through the messaging software which is available through the manage contracts page. The student can also contact customer support by phone or through e-mail. Customer support may take up to 1 day to respond.
  • V. Progress Tracking. The student can receive progress updates through inquiries to the tutor via the messaging software.
  • VI. Order Delivery. The tutor bares the responsibility of providing the contracted academic tutoring service by the specified deadline. If the tutor fails to deliver the assignment by the specified deadline, the student will be entitled to a full refund. Razzy cannot be held responsible for technical issues from the student’s side which prevent them from downloading the completed assignment by the deadline (under the assumption that the completed assignment was delivered by specified deadline by the tutor).

5. Use of Completed Assignments

  • I. All completed assignments delivered by tutors are not to be submitted for credit with any academic institution. Completed assignments are not to be posed to third parties as the student’s own work. The sole purpose of contracted tutoring services are to help students better understand an academic topic/assignment or to assist students in the completion of their own academic assignments by providing an example of how an experienced tutor would approach a particular assignment.
  • II. Razzy strictly abides by all Copyright laws. Any opposing activity is a responsibility of the student if he/she breaks the Company's Terms & Conditions.

6. Student Liability and Plagiarism

  • I. All papers are checked for plagiarism and guaranteed to be original work of the tutor. If a completed assignment is found to contain plagiarism (by the student), the student is entitled to a full refund.
  • II. Students are not permitted to submit any completed assignment from a tutor to any academic institution. If a student breaks this provision, any academic or legal liability is the responsibility of the student; Razzy nor the contracted tutor can be held responsible for any repercussions arising from the submission of a completed assignment for academic credit.

7. Company Liability

  • I. By accepting the above Terms and Conditions of this Agreement the Customer agrees to release and not hold the Company or its employees, shareholders, officers, agents, representatives, directors, affiliates, promotion, subsidiaries, advertising and fulfillment agencies, any third-party providers or sources of information or data and legal advisers (the “Company’s Affiliates”) responsible for any and all losses, rights, damages, claims, and actions of any kind, arising from or related to the products, including but not limited to:
    • i. telephone, electronic, hardware or software, Internet, network, email, or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties of any kind;
    • ii. failed, garbled, incomplete or delayed computer transmissions;
    • iii. any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Company, that might cause the product to be corrupted, delayed or disrupted;
    • iv. any damages or losses of any sort arising in connection with, or as a result of, utilizing the services;
    • v. any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the service.

8. Miscellaneous Provisions

  • I. All Terms and Conditions that define the rights and obligations of both contract parties, the student and Razzy, are listed in this Agreement. This document solely, its statements, promises or inducements, are to be considered valid or binding. After accepting the Terms and Conditions, this Agreement supersedes all previous verbal or written communications and/or Agreements between the parties.
  • II. The student accepts that if a certain portion of the Terms and Conditions is in conflict with any state law, it will not affect the rest of the document. The Customer’s rights and obligations will continue to be in force for all other terms of this Agreement.
  • III. The Agreement is governed, in its interpretation and performance, by the laws of the location of the Company’s physical location of its principal business, precisely Delaware, USA.
  • IV. Students accept that Razzy can modify its Terms and Conditions determined by the Agreement. Modifications will be posted; however, it is recommended and strongly advised, that students review these pages regularly.
