FAQ

Writers Information

Anyone can sign up to become a tutor. All of our tutors are students or graduates of American universities with expertise and experience in an offered subject or course. Evaluations of our writers are based on their prior work and customer feedback which determines their rating.
Scriber is based in Delaware, however, our tutors are students from colleges all across the country.
A writer's rating system was developed to ensure transparency and competition among Scriber's tutors. After each completed assignment, students are prompted to rate the tutor's submission. These ratings develop the tutor's specialized rating within a particular class, subject, and university. Ratings are provided to help students choose their tutor based on their reputation.
A Strike can be given if a tutor fails to complete an assignment by the designated deadline or submits plagiarized material. A Strike can result in a warning or even immediate termination depending on the severity of the offense.
Yes. A live chat with your writer is the best way to find a writer with competent credentials and clarify your order's details. Chatting with a tutor is also useful to assist in checking the progress of an assignment and asking for revisions.

Order Process

You are free to set a deadline, when you initially fill the order form out. Students are encouraged to chat with tutors to ensure that the assignment is being completed at a reasonable pace, leaving enough time to adjust for revisions. If your deadline has been changed, you are strongly recommended to tell your writer within the chat to ensure that it is completed on time.
You are able to download your completed assignment in MS Word or PDF format once your tutor submits the final draft. At this time, students are required to release the contract's payment to the writer.
Yes. You are welcome to upload your draft and order its revision. Specify your assignments's requirements in the details section of the order form.
To do that, just click the “View/Edit” button at your order page. Please, note: if the writer has already started working on your order, we recommend you to message them in chat directly and discuss all changes to your initial requirements (titles, number of pages, deadlines, etc.). Students can also adjust the payment terms of the assignment to reflect the new requirements.
Just click the “Forgot Password” link, and follow the instructions.
Scriber does not support plagiarism or cheating; do not submit any assignment which will be turned in for credit. If you have ordered us to complete an exam, it will be automatically cancelled. Tutors provide examples of how to complete an assignment to assist students in producing their own assignments based on their experience in the course. Students can submit any assignment that is included in the list of predetermined categories.

Payment and Confidentiality Issues
